Aspen Medical Products is a leader in the design, development and marketing of upper and lower spinal orthotics. The Company is in Irvine, California and has local sales representatives throughout the United States as well as representation worldwide. For over twenty-five years, the management team and employees at Aspen have introduced a continuous flow of pioneering spinal bracing products and services to the healthcare marketplace.
Aspen Medical Products was formed on June 1, 2000, when International Healthcare Devices, the product development and marketing arm for Aspen Cervical Collars and CTOs, merged with Fiji Manufacturing. Fiji Manufacturing had been the exclusive manufacturing agent for all of International Healthcare Devices’ products.
From 1993 through the merger with Fiji Manufacturing, International Healthcare Devices designed, developed and sold Aspen Cervical Collars both domestically and internationally. From its inception, International Healthcare Devices was a profitable and fast growing company. By 1995, IHD was well on its way to developing a successful marketing strategy that incorporated the Aspen Collar’s effectiveness in upper spine motion restriction while virtually eliminating complications from skin breakdown. The dramatic impact of the Aspen Cervical Collar on patient care is well documented in a variety of leading healthcare publications. In addition, the Collar has been part of a variety of groundbreaking scientific studies that have proven the device’s motion restriction characteristics for better patient outcomes.
From 1999 to the present, Aspen Medical Products has expanded into lower spine as well as cervical spine, bringing over a dozen products to market.
