Company details
"Farum" was established as a result of fusion of several enterprises, which during many years shaped current production range of the factory.

Its core companies are: "Alfons Mann and Son" (est. 1819), "Konrad, Jarnuszkiewicz and Co." (est. 1871), "Central Medical Device Service and Maintenance" (est. 1950) and "FAREL" (est. 1953)

Now X-ray Apparatuses and Medical Devices Works FARUM Joint Stock Company is one of the biggest deliverers of medical equipment in Poland.

Today’s FARUM’s offer contains wide range of apparatuses and products from three basic branches of medical technique (X-ray, ECG, Anaesthesia) completed with small medical equipment and professional sets of metal medical furniture.

The new and modernized medical devices are designed in its own design office and, too, in co-operation with outer R&D units, having good opinion of the Users.

The Company carries on also wide commercial and technical service activity connected with the produced assortment of medical devices.
In 2002 in the Company the Quality Management System has been implemented, according to European Standards PN-EN ISO 9001 and also PN-EN ISO 13485 in the scope of medical devices.

FARUM S.A. delivers medical devices according to basic requirements of Directive MDD 93/42/EEC and CE marked.

The devices are registered in the Office of Registration of Medicine Products, Medical Devices and Biocide Products in Warsaw.
