Company details
Hotswap offers services for the whole life cycle of your product. Including mechanics, electronics, software and the combination – mechatronics! We also offer services in project management, regulatory advice, industrial design and ergonomics. We run projects both in-house and at our customer sites.
Product Development
Hotswap has a long experience from working with our customers in providing a development team that takes responsibility for delivering results. The development team works in close collaboration with our customer to make sure that all demands and requirements are met. Our experience gives our customers a team that knows how to develop things efficiently and in time.
A product has a life cycle where it is conceived, developed, produced and supported. Many products are improved and refined in several generations. Hotswap works in all of these phases, sometimes from beginning to end, sometimes in just one part. And we are certified for product development according to SS-EN ISO 13485:2012 (Stockholm and Lübeck).

Turn-key Projects
All projects are different. Team sizes have varied from 1 to 40 persons, depending on which product needs to be developed and what role Hotswap has taken within the project organisation. Just like team size, project duration shows high variability. Between 4 months and 4 years is not uncommon. In some cases we support our customer for a short time in order to solve a specific problem, in other cases we accompany our customer for a long time during a new development, a face lift or development of after market products and accessories.
In total and since Hotswap were founded in 2000, we have conducted more than 600 projects for more than 300 customers.
