PRIZMA DOO was founded in 1990. It has developed business activities in two directions: distribution and own development (R&D)/production.
Since the foundation date PRIZMA has been representative of OMRON – Japanese manufacturer of home care and professional medical equipment (digital blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, electronic nerve stimulator T.E.N.S., digital and IC body thermometer, body composition monitor).
As of 1996 PRIZMA has been selling APEX Bio blood glucose monitoring system and in 2004 it became an exclusive representative for the region.
In 1997 PRIZMA presented its first product – home use ultrasonic nebuliser Bronhi Sonic – which came as a result of our own R&D long term work.
In 2000 PRIZMA launched new products – switch mode power supply for medical application, as well as humidifier unit aimed for use in industrial engineering and as a personal humidifier.
Ultrasonic nebuliser Bronhi Sonic became obsolete in 2007 when it was replaced by its successor, more advanced model of home use ultrasonic nebuliser MICRO Sonic which was EC approved carrying CE 1304 mark.
Simultaneously with the launch of MICRO Sonic, PRIZMA has established QMS in accordance to ISO 9001:2000 and 13485:2003 verified by EC NB SiQ Slovenia during August audit at our premises.
A high-tech professional ultrasonic nebuliser PROFI SONIC was launched in 2008. This unit is perfect for use in hospitals, nursing homes and medical clinics.
QMS initially implemented in 2007, it was upgraded in 2010 by ISO 14001:2004. Professional dry salt generator for inhalation PRIZSALT was launched in the same year.
Compressor nebuliser PRIZJet was presented for the first time at MEDICA 2011 exhibition while an ultrasonic pyrolisis atomizer PRIZnano was presented in 2012.
A professional ultrasonic nebulizer equipped with integrated aerosol heating system PROFI SONIC H, was presented during MEDICA 2014.
New model of dry salt aerosol generator for small size salt rooms and tents named multiSALT were launched in year 2015.
As a result of our continual work on the products further development, in 2016. we presented upgraded version of both PRIZSALT and multiSALT equipped with LCD touch screen making more comfortable and easier operation of the units.
Finally, PRIZMA is capable of providing Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) by being focused on supplying complete design, engineering and manufacturig services to the medical, consumer electronics and automotive industry at high quality and competitive pricing.
